Sachin: Story of Courage and battle | English
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar:
On the day of 15 November 1989, a sixteen-year-old child was going onto the field with his bat-like sword. Pakistani pace gun attack Wasim Akram, Aaqib Javed, Imran Khan and great spinner Abdul Kadir saw a little kid walking on the side of the 22-yard. Wasim Akram said with tease "Who is this child." And he laughed at the innocent face.
First time in life Sachin Tendulkar was facing Akram who was the world's best in the business and king of swing and bounce. Dug out in a deep breath and gazed at this young boy. And suddenly Legendary Wasim's bouncer hit on Sachin's nose and started bleeding. India's coach, Captain and Everyone gave suggestions to leave the ground to Tendulkar.
But he denies it by saying "I will play" and he continued to play. Sachin hits 54 runs in that match showing his class, elegance, and temperament by hitting three boundaries in a row to Akram and he declared his debut roaring that he is not only come to make a run but to build a milestone, I'm not in the rat race, I'm a long-race horse.
